Nitecore UHi 40 LED and Lighting Modes

The Nitecore UHi 40 LED system with 50,000 hours lifespan offers 3300 lumens of power with an exceptional reach of 505 meters, farther than 4 football fields length added together, ideal for long-distance tactical lighting and nighttime interventions. Two distinct operating modes adapt to each situation: the Tactical Mode with 5 intensity levels and Strobe for self-defense, tactical operations and emergency situations (only Turbo mode memory), and the Daily Mode by default with 5 levels, Strobe, SOS and Beacon offering memory of the 4 brightness levels or Strobe mode used. The 4-LED green battery level indicators display remaining capacity (100-75% / 75-50% / 50-25% / 25-0%), while the integrated optical proximity sensor automatically detects obstructions and reduces brightness to 300 lumens (High/Turbo modes) or 1200 lumens (Strobe mode) to prevent overheating and blinding reflection. Rapid charging completes in 3h30 via USB-C port with green charge indicators displaying progress.

Emergency interventions, security patrols, camping and hiking, this flashlight takes everything thanks to its IP68 certification with submersion up to 6 feet and its impact resistance from 3 feet. The two ergonomic buttons (rear tactical button and side mode button) allow you total control in all circumstances, while ATR technology (Advanced Temperature Regulation) automatically adjusts power to cool the flashlight and extend runtime.

With 650 hours maximum runtime in Ultralow mode thanks to the included high-capacity Nitecore NL2153HP 21700 5300mAh battery and only 2.89oz, it becomes that essential tactical companion, always performing, never bulky. The included tactical holster, belt clip and lanyard allow carry adapted to each operational situation.

Operating Instructions

2 buttons: rear tactical button (ON/OFF) + side mode button for complete control

Momentary Tactical Activation: Lightly press the rear button then release to turn off the flashlight.

Main LED ON/OFF: Press the rear button fully to turn on the flashlight and do the same to turn it off.

Operating Mode Selection: The MH12 PRO has 2 different operating modes. Tactical Mode: 5 intensity levels and Strobe (ideal for self-defense, tactical operations and emergencies, only Turbo mode memory). Daily Mode (default mode out of packaging): 5 intensity levels and 3 special modes (memory of the 4 brightness levels or Strobe mode used).

Switch Between Daily Mode and Tactical Mode: Make sure the flashlight is off. Hold the side button and press the rear button to access Ultralow mode. Then hold the side button for 5 seconds. The flashlight will flash to indicate the selected mode: 1 flash for Daily Mode, 2 flashes for Tactical Mode.

Direct Access to Ultralow Mode: When the flashlight is off, hold the side button then press the rear button to directly access Ultralow mode. Release to turn off.

Brightness Levels in Daily Mode: When the flashlight is on, press the side button to navigate between ULTRALOW - MID - HIGH - TURBO.

Brightness Levels in Tactical Mode: When the flashlight is on, press the side button to navigate between TURBO - HIGH - MID - LOW.

Special Modes (Strobe / SOS / Beacon): In Daily Mode when the flashlight is on, press and hold the side button to navigate between Strobe, Beacon and SOS. Release the button on the desired mode. In Tactical Mode when the flashlight is on, press and hold the side button to directly access Strobe mode. To exit special modes, press the side button to return to general modes or click the rear button to turn off.

Charging Function: Connect the USB-C cable to the flashlight and to a USB power source (wall charger). Green indicators will flash to indicate charging in progress. Four solid green lights indicate full charge. If the indicator flashes rapidly, there is a charging problem. Charging time: approximately 3h30 for the 5300mAh battery with 5V/2A charger.

Proximity Sensor Protection: When the optical sensor detects an obstruction, brightness automatically decreases. In HIGH or TURBO mode with detected obstruction: reduction to 300 lumens. In Strobe mode with obstruction: reduction to 1200 lumens. This function is only available in HIGH, TURBO and STROBE modes. Regularly clean the front lens to ensure proper sensor operation.

Battery Charge Indicator: When the flashlight is on, indicators light up to show remaining capacity: 4 solid green indicators (100-75%), 3 solid green indicators (75-50%), 2 solid green indicators (50-25%), 1 solid green indicator (25-0%).

ATR Regulation (Advanced Temperature Regulation): When the flashlight overheats, it automatically adjusts power to cool it and increase runtime.
