The Nitecore UT27 MB (Mont Blanc) is an ultra-lightweight 74g headlamp specifically designed for ultra-trail running, night trail racing and demanding hiking. Its revolutionary advantage: a 150-lumen red light enabling safe running through mandatory red-light-only sections in nature reserves, in compliance with new regulations at major ultra-trail competitions. Its 4 light sources (3 MCT color temperatures + high-output red light) deliver up to 800 lumens for a 168m beam distance in just 74g. Powered by the included HLB1500 USB-C battery or 3 AAA batteries, the UT27 MB is the reference headlamp for Canadian trail runners and ultra-trail athletes.

150-Lumen Red Light and MCT Technology

The UT27 MB innovates with its 150-lumen red light (vs 2 to 10 lumens on a traditional headlamp): powerful enough to spot obstacles, trail markers and terrain features during mandatory red-light sections. Three levels (150lm/80lm/10lm) plus SOS and slow flash cover every situation. Its NiteLab MCT UHE quad-core LEDs offer three color temperatures: warm white 3000K (CRI98) cuts through rain, fog and snow without white glare, neutral white 4500K (CRI85) for natural rendering on technical terrain, cool white 6500K (CRI73) for maximum visibility in open spaces. The HLB1500 1500mAh battery with built-in USB-C port delivers up to 14h30 in LOW and 21h in red LOW. The glow-in-the-dark battery compartment makes battery swaps easy in the dark.

Extreme Lightness and Trail Versatility

At only 74g (headband, battery and bracket included) and 56mm × 47mm × 32mm, the UT27 MB is designed to be forgotten on your head. Its TrueVision+ optics (>94% transmission) deliver a wide, uniform and soft beam. The 90° tilt and intuitive dual W/Y button system enable quick operation even while running. The included 4-way clip attaches to caps or backpack straps. The included diffusing stuff sack converts the UT27 MB into a camp lantern. With APC technology (ultra-low standby consumption), the essential companion for every ultra-trail athlete.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off: Hold button W (memorized neutral or cool white) or button Y (warm white). Hold either button ~1 second to turn off.

Color Temperature: With light on, press the opposite button to switch (Y = warm, W = neutral/cool).

Brightness Levels: With light on, short-press the active button to cycle: LOW → MID → HIGH. Double short-press for TURBO.

Red Light: With light off, double short-press → Red LOW. Short-press to cycle: LOW → MID → HIGH. Double short-press for SOS and Slow Flash.

Lockout: With light off, hold both buttons simultaneously until 3 flashes. Repeat to unlock.
